Opti-Pren™ TPV 6990-90A
Opti-Pren™ TPV 6990-90A is a medium hardness, general purpose thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) designed for durable technical applications. This black grade is based on more than 50% recycled material, making it an eco-friendly alternative while maintaining strong mechanical performance. It combines good tensile strength, high elongation and reliable processing on conventional thermoplastic equipment.

Processing Form:

Processing Notes:
Drying is required prior to processing for extrusion applications. It is recommended to use a desiccant dryer for a minimum of 3 hours at 80°C to achieve optimal material performance and surface quality. Typical extrusion temperatures range from 185–200°C, while injection molding temperatures range from 190–210°C depending on the zone. This grade is incompatible with acetal and PVC; equipment must be thoroughly purged before processing.
