Hytrel® TPC-ET 8238HS NCB010
Hytrel TPC-ET 8238HS NCB010 is a high-modulus thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPC-ET) with a nominal hardness of 82D. This HS grade is heat-stabilized and light-stabilized, providing enhanced durability under thermal and light exposure. The material offers exceptional toughness, high impact strength and outstanding resistance to creep, tearing and flex fatigue. Hytrel TPC-ET 8238HS NCB010 contains a non-discoloring stabilizer and provides good resistance to oils, fuels, industrial chemicals and solvents. It can be processed using conventional thermoplastic techniques such as injection molding and extrusion.

Processing Notes:
Drying is recommended at 110°C for 2–3 hours to achieve a processing moisture content ≤0.08%. Hytrel TPC-ET 8238HS NCB010 has an optimal melt temperature of 250°C (range 245–260°C) and a mold temperature of 45–55°C. For extrusion, drying at 100–120°C for 2–3 hours with a moisture target ≤0.06% is recommended, with an optimal melt temperature range of 235–250°C. Hytrel is incompatible with acetal and PVC.
