Hytrel® TPC-ET 4068FG

Hytrel TPC-ET 4068FG is a low-modulus thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPC-ET) with a nominal hardness of 31–37D. This FG grade is developed specifically for food-contact applications and manufactured according to GMP principles. It offers excellent toughness, resilience, flexibility at low temperatures and strong retention of mechanical properties at elevated temperatures. The material provides outstanding resistance to creep, impact and flex fatigue, and resists many industrial chemicals, oils and solvents. Hytrel TPC-ET 4068FG contains a non-discoloring stabilizer and can be processed using conventional thermoplastic techniques such as injection molding and extrusion.

Key Features:

  • Food-contact grade (EU & US compliant)
  • Low modulus with high flexibility
  • Excellent toughness and resilience
  • Outstanding resistance to creep, impact and flex fatigue
  • Good resistance to oils, fuels, chemicals and solvents
  • Non-discoloring stabilizer for improved color stability
  • Light-stabilized for enhanced durability
  • Plasticizer-free with long-term property retention

Processing Form:
