Estane® T5318 NAT 019
Estane® T5318 NAT 019 is an aromatic polyether TPU-based mould release masterbatch developed to improve processing efficiency in thermoplastic polyurethane applications. The masterbatch is compatible with both polyester and polyether TPU grades and is typically used in low concentrations during injection molding.
The additive reduces friction between the mold surface and TPU, resulting in improved demolding performance and a non-tacky surface finish on molded parts. This makes Estane® T5318 NAT 019 particularly suitable for complex injection molded components where clean release and consistent surface quality are essential.
Key Features:
- Polyether TPU-based mould release masterbatch
- Compatible with polyester and polyether TPU materials
- Improves demolding and processing efficiency
- Reduces friction between metal and TPU
- Provides a non-tacky surface finish
- Effective at low concentration levels
