Hytrel® TPC-ET 4039
Hytrel TPC-ET 4039 is a low-modulus thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPC-ET) with a nominal hardness of 40D and high fluidity. It combines flexibility at low temperatures with excellent toughness, creep resistance, impact strength and flex fatigue performance. This grade contains a non-discoloring stabilizer for improved color stability and offers good resistance to many industrial chemicals, oils and solvents. Hytrel TPC-ET 4039 can be processed on conventional thermoplastic equipment for injection molding, thermoforming, coating or casting.

Processing Notes:
Drying is recommended at 100°C for 2–3 hours to achieve a processing moisture content below 0.08%. Hytrel TPC-ET 4039 has an optimal melt temperature of 225°C and a mold temperature of 40°C. For profile extrusion, drying at 100°C for 2–3 hours to reach a moisture level below 0.06% is recommended, with an optimal melt temperature of 215°C. Hytrel is incompatible with acetal and PVC.
