Hytrel® TPC-ET G4074
Hytrel TPC-ET G4074 is a low-modulus thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPC-ET) with a nominal hardness of 40D. It delivers excellent toughness, resilience, flexibility at low temperatures and strong retention of mechanical properties at elevated temperatures. The grade shows outstanding resistance to creep, impact and flex fatigue and contains a discoloring stabilizer, making it unsuitable for light-colored finished products. Hytrel TPC-ET G4074 can be processed using conventional thermoplastic techniques such as injection molding and extrusion.

Processing Notes:
Drying is recommended at 100°C for 2–3 hours to reach a processing moisture content below 0.08%. Hytrel TPC-ET G4074 has an optimal melt temperature of 200°C and a mold temperature of 40°C. For extrusion, drying at 80°C for 2–3 hours with a moisture content below 0.06% is recommended, with an optimal melt temperature of 185–200°C. Hytrel is incompatible with acetal and PVC.
