Acti-Tech™ Compatibilizer 11MA13

Acti-Tech compatibilizers are based on Vistamaxx™ performance polymers grafted with maleic anhydride through a highly efficient melt-grafting process.

Acti-Tech compatibilizer 11MA13 is a medium flexibility, low MFR grade among the Acti-Tech compatibilizers range.

With its high viscosity, it is designed to enhance performance of a wide variety of polymer compounds and is particularly recommended for the following applications:

• Tie-layer concentrate for film and sheet
• Adhesion promoter on metal, yarns or other polar substrates
• Impact modifier of stiff polar engineering plastics

Due to the chemical nature of its polymer backbone, Acti-Tech compatibilizer 11MA13 is compatible with most polyolefins, i.e. PE, PP, EVA, EBA or POE

Processing Notes:

This material can be processed on any conventional thermoplastic processing equipment for compounding or extrusion. It can be used in blends with a typical addition level of 4 to 15%. This material does not require drying prior to processing in blends. It can be used pure or part of tie-layer formulation (>30%). This material requires 4h – 60°C drying prior to processing as tie-layer.
