Acti-Tech™ Compatibilizer 16MA13

Acti-Tech Compatibilizers are based on Vistamaxx™ performance polymers grafted with maleic anhydride through a highly efficient melt-grafting process.

Acti-Tech Compatibilizer 16MA13 is the softest grade among the Acti-Tech Compatibilizers range.

With its high elasticity and very high flexibility, it is designed to enhance performance of a wide variety of polymer compounds and is particularly recommended for the following applications:

• Recycling of mixed feeds PO with PET, PA, EVOH
• Adhesion promoter for TPV, TPE, TPO
• Highly filled compounds (HFFR,...)

This material can be used in combination with Vistamaxx performance polymer to bring the required balance of properties to PP/PET or PE/PET recycled feeds.

Processing Form:

Processing Notes:

This material can be processed on any conventional thermoplastic processing equipment for compounding or extrusion. Typical addition level is 2 to 10%. This material does not require drying prior to processing This material can be used as part of tie-layer formulation (30%). This material requires 2h – 50°C drying prior to processing as tie-layer. Be careful of the material’ sticking during drying.
