Opti-Pren™ TPV 6495-90A ZHFR
Opti-Pren TPV 6495-90A ZHFR is a medium hardness, black, low-density zero-halogen flame retardant Thermoplastic Vulcanizate (PP-EPDM blend). The flame retardancy (FR) package used in this grade achieves a UL94-V0 rating at 2mm, with low smoke density. This special feature, combined with good extrudability and wide processing window, positions this grade for low voltage or data communication cable jacketing.

Processing Notes:
For extrusion application, it is mandatory to dry material prior to processing. The use of desiccant dryer minimum 3 hours at 80°C is recommended. Note that this grade is incompatible with acetal and PVC, be warned that an equipment previously used to process these thermoplastics must be thoroughly purged prior to running.
