Hytrel® TPC-ET 4556 BK320
Hytrel TPC-ET 4556 BK320 is a medium-modulus thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPC-ET) with a nominal hardness of 45D. It combines excellent toughness, high impact strength and strong resistance to creep and flex fatigue. The material maintains flexibility at low temperatures and retains mechanical properties under elevated temperatures. Hytrel TPC-ET 4556 BK320 is a black, light-stabilized grade containing a black pigment concentrate and can be processed using conventional thermoplastic techniques including injection molding and extrusion.

Processing Notes:
Drying is recommended at 100°C for 2–3 hours to achieve a processing moisture content ≤0.08%. Hytrel TPC-ET 4556 BK320 has an optimal melt temperature of 225°C (range 220–250°C) and a mold temperature of 45–55°C. For extrusion, drying at 90–110°C for 2–3 hours with a moisture content ≤0.06% is recommended, with an optimal melt temperature of 210–225°C. Hytrel is incompatible with acetal and PVC.
