Hytrel® TPC-ET 4556

Hytrel TPC-ET 4556 is a medium-modulus thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPC-ET) with a nominal hardness of 45D. It offers excellent toughness and resilience, high impact strength, and outstanding resistance to creep, tearing, and flex fatigue. The material maintains flexibility at low temperatures and retains mechanical properties at elevated temperatures. Hytrel TPC-ET 4556 contains a non-discoloring stabilizer, is light-stabilized, and provides good resistance to many industrial chemicals, oils, and solvents. It can be processed using conventional thermoplastic techniques including injection molding and extrusion.

Key Features:

  • Medium modulus with balanced flexibility
  • High impact strength and toughness
  • Excellent resistance to creep and flex fatigue
  • Good chemical resistance to oils and industrial fluids
  • Non-discoloring stabilizer for improved color stability
  • Light-stabilized grade suitable for outdoor/light exposure
  • Plasticizer-free with long-term property retention

Processing Form:

  • Injection Molding
  • Film Extrusion
  • Extrusion
  • Sheet Extrusion
  • Other Extrusion
  • Coating
