Hytrel® TPC-ET 4056 ECO-B 452

Hytrel TPC-ET 4056 ECO-B 452 is a low-modulus thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPC-ET) with a nominal hardness of 40D and high impact resistance down to -40°C. It offers the same performance and processing characteristics as standard Hytrel 4056 but is partially produced using bio-feedstock derived from waste according to the ISCC Plus certified mass balance approach, reducing lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions and fossil resource use. The material delivers excellent toughness, resilience and outstanding resistance to creep, flex fatigue and tearing. Hytrel TPC-ET 4056 ECO-B 452 contains a non-discoloring stabilizer and provides good resistance to oils, industrial chemicals and solvents. It is primarily recommended for extrusion and compounding and can be processed using conventional thermoplastic equipment.

Key Features:

  • Low modulus with excellent flexibility
  • High impact resistance down to -40°C
  • Outstanding creep and flex fatigue resistance
  • Good resistance to oils and industrial chemicals
  • Non-discoloring stabilizer for improved color stability
  • Partially bio-based (ECO-B) via ISCC Plus mass balance method
  • Plasticizer-free with long-term property retention
