Hytrel® TPC-ET HTR8908ECO-B 452 NC010
Hytrel TPC-ET HTR8908ECO-B 452 NC010 is a soft-hardness, halogen-free flame-retardant thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPC-ET) with a nominal hardness of 28D (max. 30D). This natural-colored grade delivers strong flammability performance, achieving V-2 at 1.6 mm and V-1 at 3.2 mm according to IEC 60695-11-10. As part of the Hytrel ECO-B family, it is partially produced using bio-feedstock derived from waste under the ISCC Plus mass balance system, reducing fossil resource use and lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions. The material offers excellent toughness, resilience and flexibility at low temperatures, along with very high impact resistance even at –40°C. Hytrel TPC-ET HTR8908ECO-B 452 NC010 demonstrates outstanding resistance to creep, flex fatigue and tearing and provides good resistance to oils, fuels, solvents and many industrial chemicals. It is heat-stabilized, light-stabilized and suitable for thin-wall wire & cable extrusion.
