Hytrel® TPC-ET HTR6108
Hytrel TPC-ET HTR6108 is a high-performance thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPC-ET) with a nominal hardness of 55D (max. 61D). This grade is designed for applications requiring low permeability to fuels and oils, while offering excellent toughness, resilience and flexibility at low temperatures. Hytrel TPC-ET HTR6108 provides strong mechanical performance at elevated temperatures and demonstrates outstanding resistance to creep, impact and flex fatigue. It also offers good chemical resistance across acids, bases, alcohols, hydrocarbons, oils and standard fuels. The material can be processed using conventional thermoplastic equipment for injection molding and extrusion.
Key Features:
- High-performance TPC-ET with low fuel and oil permeability
- Medium-high modulus with excellent toughness
- Outstanding resistance to creep, impact and flex fatigue
- Very good low-temperature flexibility (brittleness at –65°C)
- Good resistance to oils, fuels, solvents and industrial chemicals
- Reliable melt stability for molding and extrusion
- Plasticizer-free with long-term property retention
Processing Form:
- Injection Molding

Key Features of Hytrel TPC
Flexibility & Resilience
Unlike traditional rubber, Hytrel TPC can flex in multiple directions, cycle after cycle, long after rubber would break.
Durability
Hytrel TPC is an essential ingredient in applications that must endure a wide range of temperatures and tough conditions during years of service.
Enhanced Chemical Resistance
Exhibits excellent resistance to hydrocarbons and other fluids, making it suitable for demanding environments.
Sustainable Options
The Hytrel TPC ECO-B series utilizes a biomass balance approach, incorporating up to 72% renewable content without compromising material properties.
