Hytrel® TPC-ET DYM350BK

Hytrel TPC-ET DYM350BK is a medium-modulus polyester alloy elastomer designed for injection molding, with a nominal hardness of 55D (50D at 15s). This black, heat- and light-stabilized grade contains fine-particle carbon black and offers excellent toughness, resilience and flexibility at low temperatures. The alloyed TPC-ET/PBT structure provides strong dimensional stability and high impact resistance, making it suitable for demanding environments. Hytrel TPC-ET DYM350BK demonstrates outstanding resistance to creep, impact and flex fatigue, as well as robust puncture and tear strength. It also shows very good chemical resistance to fuels, oils, solvents, acids, bases and typical automotive fluids.

Key Features:

  • TPC-ET + PBT alloy for enhanced stiffness and stability
  • Medium modulus (55D) with high toughness
  • Black grade with fine-particle carbon black
  • Outstanding tear, puncture and flex fatigue resistance
  • Excellent low-temperature flexibility (brittleness –100°C)
  • Very high chemical resistance across oils, fuels, solvents, acids and bases
  • Heat- and light-stabilized formulation
  • UL94 HB flame rating
  • Meets automotive requirements (Mercedes-Benz DBL5562.50, Chrysler MS-DB-585)

Processing Form:

  • Injection Molding

Processing Notes:
Drying at 100°C for 3–4 hours is recommended to achieve a processing moisture content ≤0.05%. Hytrel TPC-ET DYM350BK has an optimal melt temperature of 250°C (range 235–260°C) and an optimal mold temperature of 35°C (25–45°C range). Injection molding shrinkage is approx. 1.4% (parallel) and 1.5% (normal). Hytrel is incompatible with acetal and PVC. Please refer to molding guidelines for complete recommendations.
