Hytrel® TPC-ET HTR4275 BK600
Hytrel TPC-ET HTR4275 BK600 is a medium-modulus thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPC-ET) with a nominal hardness of 55D (50D at 15s). This black grade is pigmented with fine-particle carbon black and formulated for superior UV stability. Designed for blow molding and other high-viscosity processing methods, it provides excellent toughness, resilience and low-temperature flexibility while maintaining strong mechanical performance at elevated temperatures. Hytrel TPC-ET HTR4275 BK600 demonstrates outstanding resistance to creep, impact and flex fatigue, very high tear strength, and excellent abrasion resistance. It also shows good resistance to oils, fuels, solvents and a broad range of industrial chemicals.
Key Features:
- Medium-modulus grade (55D)
- Black formulation with enhanced UV stability
- High melt viscosity for blow molding
- Excellent toughness and impact resistance
- Outstanding creep, tear and flex fatigue resistance
- Good resistance to oils, fuels, solvents and industrial chemicals
- Very low brittleness temperature (–30°C Tg)
- Plasticizer-free with long-term property retention
Processing Form:

Processing Notes:
Drying is recommended at 100°C for 2–3 hours to reach a processing moisture level ≤0.06%.
For extrusion: process at a melt temperature range of 205–220°C.
For blow molding: moisture must be ≤0.02%; shrinkage for blow-molded parts is 1.5–2.0% (parallel) and 2.2–2.7% (normal) at 1.0 mm thickness.
Hytrel is incompatible with acetal and PVC. Refer to the molding and extrusion guidelines for complete recommendations.
Applications:
Developed for applications such as parts for air ducts
Hardness:
55D
Delivery Form:
Pellets
Key Features of Hytrel TPC
Flexibility & Resilience
Unlike traditional rubber, Hytrel TPC can flex in multiple directions, cycle after cycle, long after rubber would break.
Durability
Hytrel TPC is an essential ingredient in applications that must endure a wide range of temperatures and tough conditions during years of service.
Enhanced Chemical Resistance
Exhibits excellent resistance to hydrocarbons and other fluids, making it suitable for demanding environments.
Sustainable Options
The Hytrel TPC ECO-B series utilizes a biomass balance approach, incorporating up to 72% renewable content without compromising material properties.
