Hytrel® TPC-ET HTR237BG BK320

Hytrel TPC-ET HTR237BG BK320 is a medium-modulus thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPC-ET) with a nominal hardness of 45D. This black grade is pigmented with fine-particle carbon black and contains a general-purpose stabilizer. Designed for blow molding or other high-viscosity processing techniques, it offers excellent toughness, resilience and low-temperature flexibility while maintaining strong mechanical performance at elevated temperatures. Hytrel TPC-ET HTR237BG BK320 provides outstanding resistance to creep, impact and flex fatigue, very high tear strength and excellent abrasion resistance. It also demonstrates good resistance to oils, fuels, solvents and a wide range of industrial chemicals.

Processing Notes:
Drying is recommended at 100°C for 2–3 hours to achieve a processing moisture content ≤0.08%. For blow molding, dry ≤110°C for ≥2 hours to reach a moisture level ≤0.02%. Hytrel TPC-ET HTR237BG BK320 has an optimal melt temperature of 225°C (range 220–250°C). For extrusion, process at ~230°C with moisture ≤0.06%. Hytrel is incompatible with acetal and PVC.
