Opti-Pren™ TPV 6992-40D
Opti-Pren TPV 6992-40D is a hard, black thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) containing 50% recycled material, making it an eco-friendly alternative. It combines strong physical properties with good UV and weather resistance, making it well-suited for outdoor and automotive applications. This grade is polyolefin-based, completely recyclable and can be processed on conventional thermoplastics equipment.

Processing Form:

Processing Notes:
For extrusion, drying for 3 hours at 80°C is mandatory to ensure a maximum moisture content of 0.1%. Typical extrusion temperatures range from 175–200°C, while injection molding requires 190–210°C depending on the zone. This grade is incompatible with acetal and PVC; equipment previously used with these materials must be thoroughly purged prior to running.
