Hytrel® TPC-ET G4078LS NC010

Hytrel TPC-ET G4078LS NC010 is a low-modulus thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPC-ET) with a nominal hardness of 40D. This LS (“light-stabilized”) grade provides excellent toughness, resilience and flexibility at low temperatures, along with strong retention of mechanical properties at elevated temperatures. It offers outstanding resistance to creep, impact and flex fatigue. Hytrel TPC-ET G4078LS NC010 contains a non-discoloring stabilizer for color stability and can be processed using conventional thermoplastic techniques such as injection molding and extrusion.

Processing Notes:
Drying is recommended at 100°C for 2–3 hours to reach a processing moisture content of ≤0.08%. Hytrel TPC-ET G4078LS NC010 has an optimal melt temperature of 200°C and a mold temperature of 40°C. For extrusion, drying at 80°C for 2–3 hours to achieve ≤0.06% moisture is recommended, with an optimal melt temperature range of 185–200°C. Hytrel is incompatible with acetal and PVC.
