Hytrel® TPC-ET 7246 ECO-B 452

Hytrel TPC-ET 7246 ECO-B 452 is a high-modulus thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPC-ET) with a nominal hardness of 72D. It provides the same mechanical performance and processing behavior as Hytrel 7246 but is partially produced using bio-feedstock derived from waste according to the ISCC Plus certified mass balance approach, reducing lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions and fossil resource use. The material offers exceptional toughness, resilience, high impact strength and strong resistance to creep, flex fatigue and tearing. Hytrel TPC-ET 7246 ECO-B 452 contains a non-discoloring stabilizer, is light-stabilized, and withstands exposure to oils, fuels, industrial chemicals and solvents.

Key Features:

  • High modulus with increased stiffness
  • Excellent toughness and impact resistance
