Hytrel® TPC-ET 5555HS

Hytrel TPC-ET 5555HS is a medium-modulus thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPC-ET) with a nominal hardness of 55D. It is a heat- and oil-stabilized version of Hytrel 5556, offering superior heat-ageing stability and enhanced resistance to oils and greases. The material provides excellent toughness, high impact strength, and outstanding resistance to creep, tearing and flex fatigue. Hytrel TPC-ET 5555HS maintains flexibility at low temperatures and retains mechanical properties under elevated temperatures. It contains a discoloring antioxidant, making it unsuitable for light-colored finished products.
