Hytrel® TPC-ET 5556 ECO-B 352
Hytrel TPC-ET 5556 ECO-B 352 is a medium-modulus thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPC-ET) with a nominal hardness of 55D. It offers the same performance and processing behavior as Hytrel 5556 but is partially produced using bio-feedstock derived from waste according to the ISCC Plus mass balance method, reducing lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions and fossil resource use. The material provides excellent toughness, resilience, high impact strength and outstanding resistance to creep, tearing and flex fatigue. Hytrel TPC-ET 5556 ECO-B 352 contains a non-discoloring stabilizer, is light-stabilized, and resists many industrial chemicals, oils and solvents.
Key Features:
- Medium modulus with balanced flexibility
- High toughness and impact strength
- Excellent resistance to creep, tearing and flex fatigue
- Good chemical resistance to oils and industrial fluids
- Non-discoloring stabilizer for improved color stability
- Light-stabilized for enhanced durability under light exposure
- Partially bio-based (ECO-B) via ISCC Plus mass balance
- Plasticizer-free with long-term property retention
