Hytrel® TPC-ET 5556
Hytrel TPC-ET 5556 is a medium-modulus thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPC-ET) with a nominal hardness of 55D. It offers excellent toughness and resilience, high impact strength, and outstanding resistance to creep, tearing and flex fatigue. The material maintains flexibility at low temperatures and retains mechanical properties at elevated temperatures. Hytrel TPC-ET 5556 contains a non-discoloring stabilizer, is light-stabilized, and provides good resistance to many industrial chemicals, oils and solvents. It can be processed using conventional thermoplastic techniques such as injection molding and extrusion.
