Hytrel® TPC-ET 5526 BK203

Hytrel TPC-ET 5526 BK203 is a medium-modulus thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPC-ET) with a nominal hardness of 55D. This black, UV-stabilized grade offers excellent toughness, high impact strength and strong resistance to creep, tearing and flex fatigue. The material maintains flexibility at low temperatures and retains mechanical performance at elevated temperatures. Hytrel TPC-ET 5526 BK203 provides good resistance to oils, fuels, industrial chemicals and solvents, and is specially recommended for injection molding applications requiring high flow properties.

Processing Form:

Processing Notes:
Drying is recommended at 100°C for 2–3 hours to achieve a processing moisture content ≤0.08%. Hytrel TPC-ET 5526 BK203 has an optimal melt temperature of 230°C (min. 220°C, max. 250°C) and an optimal mold temperature of 45°C (maximum 55°C). Hytrel is incompatible with acetal and PVC.
