Estane® 58236 NAT 019 TPU

Estane 58236 NAT 019 is an anti-block masterbatch developed for the blown film market and designed for use with thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). This additive improves film handling by reducing the coefficient of friction and preventing tackiness in finished TPU films. Even at a low concentration of approximately 5%, the masterbatch provides effective anti-blocking performance.

The masterbatch is fully compatible with both polyester- and polyether-based TPU materials. In addition to film applications, it can also be used in cable, hose and profile extrusion to produce smoother surfaces and reduce gloss in the final article. Estane 58236 NAT 019 is FDA approved, making it suitable for regulated applications where compliance is required.

Key Features:

  • Anti-block masterbatch for TPU films
  • Effective at low concentrations (~5%)
  • Reduces friction and surface tackiness
  • Compatible with polyester and polyether TPU
